This new cover fabric offers excellent bi-elastic properties, for memory foam mattresses, and maximum air flow where you need it most. The easy-care fabric is equally as good as it is highly functional.
It also enhances the properties of such modern comfort ingredients as: iFoam memory foam with thermo-regulating properties, Koosh Natural ViscoGel and the coolest NeoGel solid blue gel topper. These are all the latest and coolest comfort ingredients that are used in our new modern NeoGel CoolMax mattress.
Maximum ventilation of your mattress
The Cooler Extreme cover does not only meet the demand for high functionality but also for individual design possibilities. It can be used with memory foam mattresses or for a cooler sleep with natural latex or thermo iFoam which may or may not include a top layer of solid blue NeoGel. This fabric which is made with high quality yarn ensures maximum ventilation of your mattress; especially, when it is combined with air vents in the firm edges and a border made with a 3D air mesh spacer.
Every adult, on average, loses a quarter of a litre of body moisture every night. This secretion of moisture causes a clammy sensation and stimulates the production of perspiration, which is not particularly good for a peaceful, comfortable night's sleep. With our NeoGel CoolMax mattress and Cooler Extreme cover, we have designed a mattress which prevents and even totally excludes such discomfort.
Cooler Extreme mattress fabric is made with the new revolutionary Friesen thread. It has unique fast-drying properties and is 42% cooler than cotton. You will feel the coolness as soon as you touch the cover. Also, moisture-control tests have shown that this fabric dries considerably faster than other more absorbent fabrics. Cooler Extreme fabric is completely dry after barely 30 minutes, whereas cotton still contained 50% of the moisture after the same time.
Cooler Extreme is highly permeable by air and has a high heat-regulating capacity, making it an ideal mattress fabric. The hexagonal structure of the fibres ensures that any moisture released during sleep is immediately carried to the external surface of the fabric, where it quickly evaporates. Perspiration is reduced, and the body remains pleasantly cool.
